Abuelo's: The Flavor of Mexico

Abstract:
There are few things in life that truly warm the heart: The love of . . . well, a loved one, the feeling of having accomplished something, witnessing an act of random kindness, or perhaps some teary eyed romance movie that you can only watch with a girl if you want to still feel like a man....

Here is a comment that you may not like. When people find hairs in their food, it tells customers that the cooks, and waiter, waitress are not using hairnets. Here is what happened:

My mom went to eat there about two weekends ago, and she found long hairs in her food. She came home sick! She got sick due to the finding of the hairs. She came home throwing up. I do not know how a restaurant can be grade the "best Mexican restaurant" in town. How can that be if, people find hair on their plates? Don't the cooks use hairnets? Mom said that she would "Never" go back to that restaurant.

As an ex-LCU'er, I was quite surprised to find this the first result in my search for Abuelo's pechuga con calabaza! I now live in Colorado where we are in great need of an Abuelo's. I was going to look for a recipe, but am thrilled to know that I share a deep connection to another generation of Roadrunners! Thanks for making my day...and LONG LIVE ABUELO'S!!!!!!
